We Are the Champions is a power ballad written by Freddie Mercury, recorded and performed by British rock band Queen for their 1977 album News of the World. One of their most famous and popular songs, it remains among rock’s most recognisable anthems. The song was a worldwide success, reaching number two in the UK Singles Chart, and number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. In 2009, “We Are the Champions” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and was voted the world’s favourite song in a 2005 Sony Ericsson world music poll. In 2011, a team of scientific researchers concluded that the song was the catchiest song in the history of pop music. We Are the Champions has become an anthem for sporting victories, including as official theme song for 1994 FIFA World Cup, and has been often used or referenced in popular culture. The song has been covered by many artists.

The Amen break is a brief drum solo performed in 1969 by Gregory Cylvester Coleman in the song Amen, Brother performed by the 1960s funk and soul outfit The Winstons. It gained fame from the 1980s onwards when 5.2 seconds sampled from the drum-solo became very widely used as sampled drum loops in hip hop, jungle, breakcore and drum and bass music. The Amen Break was used extensively in early hiphop and sample-based music, and became the basis for drum-and-bass and jungle music — a 5.2 second clip that spawned several entire subcultures.

  • In 1988 Bloodsport was released but the soundtrack to the movie was limited to only a few tracks included and the two songs were not performed by the original artists. But since 2007 the full score and soundtrack are available. This is one awesome excellent and extremely powerfull original soundtrack which includes the original songs like On my own alone by Stan Bush.
